Censorship Issues in Text Accompanying Images

Censorship Issues in Text Accompanying Images

Hello, I am Tom, a writer who not only creates images but also weaves stories around them. My visuals are part of a greater narrative. This article is primarily for those who care to add captions or titles to their images; if you don’t, feel free to move along, there’s nothing for you here! 😉Tensor Art is a fantastic platform that enables users to generate AI images online and offers excellent tools for creativity. However, I want to bring attention to a troubling issue: the censorship of seemingly innocuous accompanying texts. Many users may not even realize that their images and texts are not visible to others. While these pieces appear published to the author, it is only when one clicks on the accompanying hashtags that the reality emerges, those images might not be seen at all. I often found myself puzzled as to why some images received no likes, while others in the gallery thrived with engagement. Now I understand why.Tensor Art provides its users with 10,000 characters to tell their stories, yet this generous allowance is compromised by an apparently restrictive automated word filter. The longer the text, the higher the risk of falling into the censorship trap, as metaphors and nuanced expressions can be misunderstood.Furthermore, there’s a lack of feedback from Tensor Art regarding which words are deemed problematic. It appears there is an automatic filtering system in place that is not functioning optimally and is overly restrictive. Those in charge of Tensor Art are not accessible through this platform, and I am not keen on creating a Discord account just to chat with the boss.Interestingly, the comment section remains uncensored, allowing for open dialogue and discussions. This avenue may serve as a valuable space for users to share their thoughts without the fear of censorship.I invite fellow users to reflect on this issue and consider how it might impact our creative expressions. Together, we can advocate for more transparency and better communication regarding content guidelines.
