This model is an Anima checkpoint designed to replicate the western comic book aesthetic with cross-hatching and high-contrast ink shading, bold linework, and textured half-tone dot patterns typical of vintage print.

It builds off of the checkpoint, which is designed to default to a more western cartoon aesthetic and strips away overly soft gradients and typical anime eye/face proportions in favor of sharp angular geometry, bold ink lines, and blocky, high-contrast shadowing.

  • With this model, you can get decent results as early as 6 steps, but I've tested mainly between the range of 12 and 24 steps.
