This article might be useful for understanding more about samplers (or schedulers). Generally, the differences among them are quite minimal. People have observed the following characteristics anecdotally:
- DDIM: Artistic, soft, smooth, and faster to generate
- Euler: Effective at blending colors
- DPM2: Excellent for portraits and slightly sharper
- Euler Ancestral: Similar to DPM2 but softer, also excels in portraits
- HEUN, LMS, & PLMS: These are older samplers, yet they are fairly comparable to the others
The "ancestral" samplers, such as Euler and DPM2, tend to be more artistic (or chaotic/varied). When using a seed, the output is often more diverse compared to other samplers when viewed side by side.VNS_Add more details
