Robotic semi-translucent panther (2).
The first robotic panther I created today was inspired by a French comic called 'Les robinsons de la terre' - issue 1 (1980).
Now this image is based on a scan from the comic itself. I put it a number of times through the Flux prompt by img2img until a re-interpreted version came out that I liked. It's still the comic character, but modified somewhat to my taste. I didn't edit the image or the intermediate results, just was curious what the prompt would do to it. Tensor has a nice 'send it to img2img' option, this can be put to good use.
The copyright of the original image belongs to a French guy called Alfonso Font. Cudo's to him!
So this is an img2img. If you remix it, something different will come out but not too different I hope if I did everything right. There's a number of things I couldn't get Flux to do: the panther is in 3/4 overall view but his head is directly facing the viewer, which adds to the menacing pose. The prompt will put everything into one line and doesn't make the head turn. I also like how it has a bluish tongue and no whiskers because, well, it's a machine.
In the original picture he had only one antenna but Flux gave him another one. Having an antenna on your head as a panther droid is very oldschool. You must know that things still had antenna's in the '80s.
