"The Child at the Foot of the Bed"
A pale, translucent child stands at the edge of a bed, barefoot and dressed in an old-fashioned nightgown. Their head tilts slightly, as if curious or confused, but their eyes are empty and lifeless. When you close your eyes and reopen them, the child is now crouched by your side, whispering something just beyond your ability to hear.
