Image to Video is the largest video-workflow tag on Tensor.Art: start from a single still image — AI-generated or a real photo — and animate it into a short clip. It is the most forgiving entry point into AI video, because the composition is already solved; you only direct the motion. The tag runs on WAN 2.x and Hunyuan Video models, with WAN 2.1/2.2 i2v checkpoints doing most of the work. Successful prompts describe movement and camera rather than the scene itself: "waterfall cascading in the distance", "hair blowing gently", "slow push-in". Subjects with natural secondary motion — water, fabric, clouds, foliage, crowds — animate most convincingly, which is why scenery and character vignettes dominate the top posts. Most posts publish the full workflow, so you can open one, swap in your own start frame, and queue it. For quick tests start with QUICK VIDEO; for heavier control (start and end frames, motion brushes), check the model pages under VIDEO.
