Semi-official mascot of Doom, ultimately derived from the Astral Dreadnought depicted on the cover of the Dungeons & Dragons book Manual of the Planes. Eventually re-appropriated by Pathfinder as the "Cacodaemon" in Bestiary 2, which is based on the Doom monster's appearance but significantly smaller and has modifications in an attempt to be legally distinct.
