There are seperate online activation & download fees, but both include all versions of this project. If you have problems activating Big Love, try another credit card. Or try again later. There is no activation option in the app. Use the website.
Big Love Ultra supports generating at image sizes of 1280x1870, 1360x1984 and higher. Can be easily upscaled to 6 megapixel unlike the normal low-res images. Ultra is so far still experimental, but results are already amazing. More photorealistic and detailed. A special quality that cannot be achieved by just upscaling. Requires more prompting and seed hunting in various cases.
These image sizes are supported by the Big Love Ultra versions:
1536x2240 (only certain prompts)
1432x2088 (only certain prompts)
1360x1984 (recommended)
1280x1872 (recommended)
1024x1496 (better use a normal low-res version)
You can also use the 16:9 or 2:3 versions of these image sizes as well as landscape orientation, but the above should be more reliable. The higher the image size, the lower the probability of good results. If you get too many problems with a higher image size, switch to the next lower one. Some prompts do higher sizes fine, some do not.
It is usually better to use a normal version of Big Love to create 1024x1496 images. Unless you prefer the Ultra style.
Remove fill words and unusual tags in the prompt. They can cause a quality reduction with Big Love Ultra as they were not trained. Shorter prompts should work better as it is less likely that bad or untrained tags are in it.
Big Love License
Big Love is licensed under CreativeML Open RAIL++M (dated July 26, 2023) with the following additional terms:
1. You may use Big Love without crediting the creator.
2. You may sell the images that it generates.
3. You may only run the official Big Love versions of the SubtleShader account on Civitai and Tensor Art. Running it on other public or shared servers (including other Civitai and Tensor Art accounts) requires a separate license or permission from the creator.
4. You may not sell this model or merges of this model.
5. You may merge low-res non-Ultra versions of Big Love and share your merges of them. You may not merge the high-res Ultra versions of Big Love, and you may not share any merges that incorporate high-res Ultra versions. Low-res versions are those trained at resolutions of 1024px and below. High-res versions include the addition "Ultra" in their name and are trained at resolutions higher than 1024px.
6. When sharing allowed merges (of non-Ultra versions) as well as finetunes, you must apply these same additional license terms.
7. Redistribution of high-res Ultra versions of Big Love is prohibited. High-res Ultra versions may only be obtained from official sources designated by the creator.
8. All use-based restrictions from Attachment A of the CreativeML Open RAIL++M license apply to this model and any derivatives.
9. Any restrictions in these additional terms may be waived only with explicit written permission from the creator.
TLDR: This is basically the same license as before (just stated more clearly), so nothing changes for non-Ultra versions. However, further restrictions were added for Ultra versions of Big Love (no merging, no redistribution). The "Share merges" condition below the license on the right hand side was only deactivated because of the Ultra versions. Merging is still allowed for the non-Ultra versions.
