Version 2 Description:
I know I said that v1 was my endgame anime model, but when I was creating the showcase images for all these merges I've been making, I decided that there were 2 more models that I wanted to try to include. So this model has been re-merged to include 8 of my favorite merges that I've made.
Even though I already thought v1 was great, this merge somehow came out even better, in my opinion. One of the only nitpicks I had about v1 was that the colors could seem a little washed out at times, but I feel the colors are now better. I also feel that v2 is a bit more detailed than v1.
Hands are also slightly better than in v1, making this model a bit above average at doing hands for an SD1.5 model I'd say. However, keep in mind that this is still an SD1.5 model, so hands are not going to be great all of the time, and it will have some issues from time to time, of course. There's a troubleshooting section a bit below here that offers some suggestions if you're having any problems.
For more potentially relevant information, please also see the original v1 description below. This is now my endgame anime model for real this time, as this is my last merge that I'm going to be posting for the foreseeable future. It's back to LoRAs after this!
Version 1 Description:
Nearing the end of my merging journey, I wondered what would happen if I took my favorite merges that I've made and combined them together into a "supermerge." The end results are way better than anything I could have expected!
This model does a neutral anime/illustrated style, but it still looks very nice on its own. It's also a great base model for LoRAs, from my testing. This may just be my endgame default anime model for SD1.5! I already find myself using it a lot more than my Anime Merge, which was my previous go-to.
If I had to nitpick, the only downside of this model is that I sometimes wish the colors were a little more saturated or "popped" a little bit more. But it's a minor gripe, as output images usually look very nice anyway. I also wish it was better at hands, but that's more of a general SD1.5 problem, and not specifically an issue with this model. In fact, I think this model is at least average, if not a bit better than average, at doing hands compared to other SD1.5 models.
Troubleshooting:
If you're having persistent problems with anatomy (hands, fingers, etc.) and/or other jank, just try your best with all the usual fixes - different prompting, use a different VAE, try different clip skip values, use adetailer, inpaint, etc.
Outro:
If you make anything awesome, please consider posting them to the gallery! That goes for all of my models! I really like seeing what kind of stuff you all are able to make!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I will try my best to help! Also, if you have any ideas for future models, please don't hesitate to share them with me!
