About 35 years ago, I saw Clash of the Titans for the first time, and I fell in love with stop-motion animation. I loved the NES at the time too, and pretty much instantly thought "this should be in Castlevania." A few days ago, I remembered this, threw some pics into training and things were working. Here we are. Does Harryhausen style well, best with making up your own creatures; and until AI allows me to re-skin old videogames, this will have to do.
General Parameters
Strength varies- start at .6-.7. Things get more vintage/cartoony/illustrated at higher strengths (long prompts fix). Can go down to .3 or so. Some of the specific characters work better at different strengths. Higher strengths are also prone to broken fingers and extra limbs (this is always an issue with multicharacter LoRAs for me, especially when I insist on training things to summon multiple at once to drive myself crazy)
Tested Samplers so far (in Flux dev though I imagine fine-tunes behave fine too, or at least those that tend to like LoRAs)
DEIS Beta, DDIM Uniform (wildly unstable for me, but I like it), KL Optimal
UniPC BH2 SGM Uniform, Simple, KL Optimal
Euler SGM Uniform, DDIM Uniform, Beta, Simple.
DPM++ 2M KL Optimal, SGM Uniform, Simple
Prefix tags/style triggers (sort of operate as modes, some more than others, combine away, play with strength)
No prefix- defaults to old film style or 3D render in most cases
Photo/cinema family- Photo, old photo, film still, analog movie, etc. for more of a Harryhausen-esque style
Game family (play with strengths- this is super diverse and the heart of the model, all prefixes behave a little differently)- a pixelated videogame screen/screenshot/game screen/etc., pixel art image, a 2.5d pixelated videogame, a 2.5d rendered videogame, a 3d rendered videogame, an old pixelated videogame. Stick Castlevania in any of the game styles and there's even more!
Character Tags (adjust strengths if not working)
Zeus, in a toga robe, white hair
a colossal Kraken with four arms
white Pegasus

a gold and silver mechanical owl
a slim gold minotaur
a blue Krishna with six arms
a giant guy with a large central cyclops eye face and a single horn (uncooperative. you may have better luck)
colossal King Poseidon in a crown (mention his tail or throw in merman if he has legs)
a Medusa with snake hair
a skeleton soldier with a shield
a two-headed dog (very, very fickle)
Simon Belmont in a blue tunic (random face but understands character purpose)
hero in a blue tunic (random face but understands character purpose)
Dracula
son of Dracula with long white hair
demon
a knight with a pointy head/helmet (special bonus visitor related to the guy from Blasphemous)
more that I am have not tested/discovered yet and will update later. Probably.
Random concepts/words that do things
melting into gold, castle Dracula/Dracula's castle, psychedelic background, fire, blood red sky, holding a sword/whip/battle axe, severed head, flame whip, vivisected carcass, with flaking leprosy is melting, more that I am forgetting and will add as I come across them
