To achieve a special watercolor or oil painting texture in anime-style and illustration renders, while maintaining strong visual performance in color and composition, I hope everyone will enjoy the results.
Sampling Method: Recommended methods include DPM++ 2M Karras, Euler a, or Euler. These can generate high-quality images quickly.
Sampling Steps: Recommended range is 20–30. Higher values are often unnecessary and may waste time.
CFG Scale: Suggested range is 6 to 9.
Clip Skip: A value between 2 to 5 is sufficient. Higher values (like 6 to 10) might sometimes produce surprising results, so feel free to experiment.
VAE: Choose a VAE that best suits your needs.
Hires.fix: It’s recommended to turn off Hires.fix initially and only enable it after generating an image you're satisfied with. This saves a lot of time.
Upscaler: Suggested options are 4x-AnimeSharp, R-ESRGAN 4x+, or R-ESRGAN 4x+ Anime6B.
Sampling steps: Again, 20–30 is sufficient.
Denoising Strength (for image redraws): Recommended range is 0.3–0.4. Higher values may cause the result to deviate significantly from the original image.
Image Size: Recommended sizes include 768x512, 512x768, 512x512, or 512xN / Nx512 (where N is any number). Keeping either the width or height at 512 will generally yield better results, because the original training data for Stable Diffusion 1.5 was based on 512x512 images. (This applies to all 1.5-based models.)
