Herin | DR's OC
I love how Herin is looking here. And yeah, I've even read Illustrious' paper - they usually publish the paper of their base models' projects. And illustrious is not the best model or maybe even the worst for OCs, but all models are bad for OCs. Then, I'm pretty happy with my Herin.
There are two versions, and they are different. In order to select BOTH versions easily: select "remix" after OPENING the second sample image above ☝️ - Do not worry, the image is not posted and remixes won't show up (neither count.) And replace prompts with your new desired positive prompt.
👌👋🤙🤘🖖 - Same vibe as XL version, generates less artifacs. Uses a very small dataset. Limited perspectives and arsenal for obvious reasons. Amazing for creative character truly varied, unexpected and dynamic portraits.
🎤🎧🎶🎸🎉 - Exactly same dataset as his very first version for 1.5, no wonder he has his super cool expressions, his face is not that symmetric because no real one is. Also has a few unintended mistakes. Generates more artifacts. Uses a big dataset. Awesome anatomy, ergo better perspectives, larger default arsenal. More suitable for whimsical and cartoonish illustrations/cg.
What really matters about having TWO versions is that, since he is an OC and his style is my personal style, using BOTH versions help stabilizing his "style, in case necessary.
None are good for fine-tuned versions. BUT TOGETHER they make it do it. It is a sort of "soft" over-fitting, instead of overfitting we are feeding tons of Herin information from two different sources, and as SDXL and all other models' related are dual-channel... It may work.
I might train any toon of mine on a fine-tuned model just to check it out if they are feasable there or really not.
And Herin was created by Davis!! (And I was NOT roleplaying Davis, he did create Herin lol) And yes, Davis made a mistake, as Herin seems to be a female naime. At the end of the day, folks are named by names and period, and I won't tell me good Scouser that he's wrong, because Davis is NEVER wrong. lol
And you, me guv bard, am very proud of you. Sláinte!
