Belén Ortega is a renowned Spanish illustrator and comic book author, known for her work on Trinity, Batman: Urban Legends, Batman and the Wonder Woman series, for which she was nominated for the Eisner Prize in 2024. Trained in Fine Arts at the University of Granada and awarded in Japan, she debuted in 2010 with the Himawari manga, followed by titles such as Indian Bird, Marc Márquez: The History of a Dream and Millenium Saga. In the U.S. market he has worked for Marvel and DC Comics, contributing to series such as Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel, Punchline, Catwoman and Batman, in addition to participating in anthologies such as Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
