This digital artwork depicts two young men standing back-to-back in a dimly lit subway car. The man on the left wears a bright yellow jacket, his head bowed, holding a smartphone with a glowing screen. The man on the right wears a dark hoodie, staring blankly out the dark, reflective window. The interior of the train is rendered in cool, desaturated teals and grays, with fluorescent overhead lights casting harsh, slightly green-tinted shadows. The painterly style captures the mundane yet emotionally distant atmosphere of urban commuting, emphasizing themes of alienation and quiet contemplation.
