detailed gouache painting featuring an elf woman in her weathered middle years, laugh lines and crow's feet, silver-streaked black hair. She is dressed in fur and leather armor with a visible burgundy-red lining. The background: a snowstorm, cold blue-gray light, an atmosphere of deep winter and melancholy. :: style is impressionistic, painterly. Foreshortening creates perfect perspective.
