We are rectifying models, AI tools, and posts involving NSFW and real-world celebrities.
New publishing or generation of such content will be prohibited.
Which Resources Are Affected?
NSFW Content
This applies to all NSFW, 18+, and mature content.
Real-World Celebrity Content
This applies to any depiction of real-world celebrities, regardless of context or rating — including PG and PG-13 content.
Whether it’s a public figure, celebrity, or influencer, this includes fan-art depictions of characters portrayed by a celebrity.
Why?
We fully understand that this is frustrating for many creators and users.
The “Import from Civitai” feature has unfortunately been affected by the previous rectifications on Civitai’s side.
Due to mandatory requirements from credit card organizations and regulatory authorities, and to ensure the platform’s long-term sustainable development, this is a decision we had to make.
This action is also to respond to rapidly evolving global regulatory requirements, especially legislation targeting digital identity abuse, non-consensual imagery, and AI impersonation.
Implementation Timeline
Visibility modification within 72 hours.
If your model does not involve such content, to avoid being inadvertently affected, please update your model’s detail page and showcase to exclude such content.

This update is a compliance measure we must take to strive to maintain the platform’s openness and creators’ monetization capabilities. 😔
